Wedding favours are traditional gifts which are given out at the wedding reception as a means of saying "thank you" from the bride and groom. They are a token of appreciation that serve as a memorable keepsake for friends and family members who have come along to celebrate the marriage of the happy couple. The Italian tradition of giving out wedding favours has gone on for centuries and it is them we can thank for the five sugared almonds. The almonds themselves are coated in pastel coloured sugar and you will always find precisely 5 almonds. Each almond has its own specific meaning and these are Health, Happiness, Wealth, Fertility and Long Life.
We have decided to add a contemporary edge to the sugared almonds idea and we make the most delicious little heart shaped cookies by hand, which we ice with pretty pastel coloured royal icing. These are presented in quantities of five cookies in a clear bag and tied with an ivory satin ribbon. We do require 7 days notice to despatch your products. They are available in quantities of 10 favours and we send to you at any UK address.
Our wedding favours come in 2 different flavours either vanilla or chocolate with a choice of 5 colours or a mixture of all the colours.
PLEASE NOTE - The favours are sold in multiples of 10 wedding favours so if you need 50 favours for your wedding guests, then you will need to purchase 5 x 10 favours. Each favour comes with 5 iced cookies.
